Battery life, replacement cost and warranty
Packs age. Years of cover, whether you can replace the pack alone, and the price belong in the contract, not in a spoken promise.

The expensive part is often the battery, not the bodywork. A bike that looks cheap without a replacement figure may not look cheap in three years.
How many years does a pack last?
There is no number that fits every brand. Cycle count, how often you run it flat, heat and long storage all move the date. A warranty states years or kilometres, not a permanent capacity.
Which lines of the warranty matter?
- Battery, motor and controller, each with its own years and kilometres, whichever comes first.
- The capacity percentage that still counts as a claim.
- Whether cover is dealer-only, and whether a modification voids it.
- Whether Hong Kong has a workshop, or parts wait overseas.
Why is there no replacement price on this page?
Voltage and capacity differ, and shop prices move. Before you sign, ask for a written price to replace one pack, the labour, and how a claim is calculated inside the warranty. On a used bike, read battery health. See used bikes.
