Electric motorcycle insurance: third-party, comprehensive, P plate
A road needs at least third-party cover. Comprehensive is optional. Probationary licences usually cost more. We do not quote premiums.

Using a motorcycle on a road without valid insurance is an offence. Electric and petrol are the same on that point.
What does third-party cover, and what does it skip?
Third-party risks insurance covers your legal liability for other people's injury and property. It does not repair your bike. A solo crash, a stolen bike or a stolen battery is usually outside it. Cover for your own bike is a comprehensive policy, or a named add-on, and the wording differs.
Why is a probationary licence more expensive?
Insurers price risk. A new licence, a young rider and no no-claim discount usually cost more. Some insurers decline or ask a higher excess. This page will not invent a 'P plate is about this many thousand dollars' figure. Give a licensed insurer your real age, licence and model and take a written quote.
Does delivery work or a modification leave the policy intact?
A change of use or of the bike can void a claim. Goods, hire, a power change or an add-on should be told to the insurer in writing first. See passengers and goods and modifications.
